The Tzimisce's olive skin and dark hair might lead one to think him Mediterranean in origin but those more knowledgeable will identify him as a generational Romanian. * 1790: Gabriel Vassily is born in Bucharest, Romania.
* 1801: The Vassily family emigrates to New York City via a Dutch merchant vessel.
* 1805: Gabriel's mother, Antonia, perishes of yellow fever. To this day he refuses to feed on mothers out of respect.
* 1818: Gabriel is embraced, roughly, by his sire Georgescu.
* 1821: Gabriel concludes his Accounting, and he and his sire part company shortly thereafter.
* 1850-1875: Gabriel spends these years in the Sabbat, leaving in disgust after he found the sect both wasteful and hypocritical in the extreme. More, he will not say.
* 1875-1901:Gabriel is in torpor following the fight surrounding his exodus from the Sabbat - about which he also will not speak. He returns to New York City.
* 2018 Gabriel arrives in Atlantic City.
