Bio

“I was born in France, during the reign of Charles VI. My family were minor nobles with long-standing ties to the Church. My childhood was steeped in ritual, incense, and whispered prayers in stone chapels. Even then, I felt there was something beyond the veil of the world, something that mortals could only glimpse in their superstitions and relics.

The Embrace came in the early fifteenth century, given by a Lasombra patron who admired my insight, discipline, and sense of destiny. It was not forced, nor was it violent. It was recognition, the moment when I was brought into a lineage that shaped the nights of Europe. I came to understand that while kings and bishops may rise and fall, our society endures.

For a time I remained in France, moving among courts both mortal and Kindred. I witnessed the flowering of culture and the slow corrosion of stability. I played my part quietly, never seeking to stand above my betters, but always lending my words, my counsel, and my faith in the order of things.

Then came the Revolution. I still remember the sound of the mob, the guillotines, the desecration of churches, and the slaughter of noble houses. The heart of France was torn out in those nights. It was not merely mortals killing mortals. It was a collapse of faith, of structure, of continuity. It was a lesson carved into my soul that nothing, no matter how strong, is immune to the madness of collapse. Many of my kin perished. Others fled to more secure courts. I too chose exile, leaving the ruins of my homeland behind to seek the stability of the New World.

In America I discovered a land both promising and restless. Cities rose quickly and burned just as fast. Princes laid claim, fell, and were replaced with alarming speed. To endure here required subtlety, patience, and the ability to adapt. I learned to move with these shifting tides, never clinging too tightly to any single domain, but always lending my talents where they would be welcomed.

I do not hunger for titles or for crowns. I learned long ago that such things are fleeting. Instead, I have made myself useful to those who hold them. I observe, I advise, I survive. Some have called it a gift for masks. I would say it is simply wisdom: knowing when to step forward and when to fade into shadow, which face best suits the moment.

Los Angeles was one of my haunts in the last century. I found the city fascinating in its chaos, but also dangerous in its volatility. The wars there were not mine to fight. I had no stake in their feuds, no desire to be caught in the fire. When the city threatened to collapse under its own weight, I departed, as I always do, to find steadier ground.

In 2020, I arrived in Atlantic City. I saw in it an echo of opportunity, the kind of place where traditions might be preserved even in the face of modern decay. Perhaps it was chance, or perhaps it was providence that brought me here. I know only that the Camarilla remains my sect, my anchor, and my inheritance.

I am, and always have been, Camarilla. I have stood beneath its banners since the nights of my Embrace, and I have learned that what truly matters is not the hunger for recognition, but the devotion to continuity. France taught me the cost of collapse. I will not see it repeated here. My role is simple: to preserve, to endure, and to ensure that when others falter, the Tower still stands.”
