Description In modern day, Ambrose goes by Lale.

Lale is a professor of Religious Studies and is usually in a plaid button down shirt, khaki pants, brown loafers, a long dark brown coat, and a dark green scally cap. In addition, Lale has a rosary around their neck.

Lale has light skin, blue eyes, and dark hair. They are of unremarkable height.

Personality: Lale has a slow cadence to them, preferring to watch and observe before acting. They are very slow to anger and have an iron grip on their Beast. They are very religious viewing the Curse of Cain as a blessing. Despite being a staunch member of the Ivory Tower, Lale does try to connect to the other clans and sects.

Bio Lale Tätowiererin is not his real name. Lale is a name that was adopted several years ago.

Lale was born in 1330 in Kraków and Embraced in 1360 by a Banu Haqim Pretender Elder who valued discipline over brutality. He was taken to Alamut, where he mastered the clan’s traditions but never embraced cruelty as identity. In 1453, he worked nights as a sacristan at Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, deepening a religious conviction that the Curse of Caine was a sacred burden rather than damnation. He stood with his clan in 1493 when the Tremere’s Blood Curse fell, an event that shaped his belief that suffering refines the soul.

In 1525, Lale began the long discipline toward Golconda, achieving Humanity 10 in 1603 through rigid self-control before slipping to 9 only three years later. He traveled widely through Italy, colonial America, and the American South, eventually settling for a time in New Orleans and later helping establish Elysium in Great Falls in 1900. In 1790, he married a Salubri named Gany, and they wandered the Americas together for over a century and a half. Her Final Death in 1953 drove him into frenzy and cost him a piece of his hard-won Humanity.

After traveling with the Ravnos and spending time among the Anarchs, Lale survived the Week of Nightmares and witnessed the lifting of the Banu Haqim Blood Curse in 2001 as the clan joined the Camarilla. Now returned to Great Falls and working at a local college, Lale speaks slowly, observes carefully, and maintains an iron grip on his Beast. He remains devout, steadfastly Camarilla, and views eternity not as indulgence, but as refinement.
