An adept polyglot and phenomenal multi-disciplinary craftsman, Darius prefers galas and wineries to the machinations of politics, eschewing political station and favoring the quiet strength of connection and creation over the chaos of power games.

Timeline

1876 — Darius Fairchild is born the fifth child and only son of Henry and Elizabeth Fairchild.
1882 — At the age of 6, Darius's precocious intellect and artistic skill gain attention from his tutors. Despite his disinterest in politics, his talents make him a prized heir to the Fairchild estate.

1890 — Darius, at age 14, sneaks out of the family estate during a lavish gala and spends the night wandering London's slums, a formative experience that sparks his fascination with the underworld.

1894 — After his father’s death, Darius reluctantly takes the title of Viscount, shouldering the responsibilities of the estate but secretly funding dubious ventures, including underground fighting rings, with his newfound wealth.

1898 — Darius meets Icarus Smith, in London on business, and the two form a powerful bond. They meet a few more times before losing touch in 1904.

1902 — Darius’s involvement with the opium trade escalates and he cements his underground reputation for solving disagreements with his fists.

1904 — Cristóbal de Macao y Knik embraces Darius. What in life was a hunger for excitement and danger warps into a ceaseless craving for blood and death. Darius swears loyalty to his sire, his Lineage, and the Sabbat and becomes an all-too-willing weapon in their many conflicts.
2006 — While participating in disorganized and unofficial Sabbat raids on Camarilla holdings, Darius sees something that changes him and vanishes.
2025 — Members of Darius’s Lineage find him and call him to return to kindred society, demanding he "come to his senses" after "idling in the wilderness" for so long. Darius emerges from his self-imposed exile and seeks out Icarus, who invites him to join the Deadly Syn’s Coterie.
